Becoming a LekkeSlaap Host

Becoming a LekkeSlaap Host is easy! All you need to do is complete the sign-up form on our website and follow the easy steps to start the process. You will have your property added in no time! How to add your property

Step 1: Go to https://www.lekkeslaap.co.za/    

Step 2: Click on the menu in the top right-hand corner and then on ‘Host with us’

Step 3: Complete all the fields in the short signup form

Step 4: Choose English or Afrikaans as your preferred language

Step 5: Review and accept LekkeSlaap's Terms and Conditions

Step 6: Submit your information by clicking on ‘Add My Property’. You’ll now be directed to your newly created host profile.

Step 7: Click on the ‘Get Started’ button

Step 8: Take the Guided Tour for step-by-step instructions on completing your property information

Step 9: A once-off fee of R500.00 (excluding VAT) is charged to activate your property

Step 10: Official documentation will be requested that is required to verify your property

Once your property information is complete and everything is in order, your property will be activated within 5 to 7 business days.

What is needed to list a new property?

A copy of the property owner’s South African ID or valid passport.

Additional documents are required if:

  • You are renting a property. A full lease agreement stating that you are allowed to sub-let the property.

  • You are a property manager. A signed mandate, along with the manager’s ID, is required to market the property.

  • The property is owned by a trust. Official trust documents such as a letter of authority and the J246 form will be required.

Documents required for Namibian properties:

  • A copy of the property owner’s ID or a valid passport. 

  • Proof of address for the property in the form of a municipality bill, or

  • A copy of the property’s Namibian Tourism Board certificate (if applicable). 

Please note that additional documentation may be requested under certain circumstances where ownership of property cannot be accurately confirmed. This is a measure to protect both our property owners and guests from fraudulent activity.
