Connect Your Property via Rentals United

You can now connect your Rentals United properties directly to LekkeSlaap! This lets you manage availability, rates, content, and bookings all from one platform. Once connected, LekkeSlaap will review and publish your listings so they’re ready for local travellers to book.

How to connect your properties to LekkeSlaap

1. Log in to your Rentals United account and go to the ‘Services’ tab.

2. Under ‘Services’, select:

• ‘Find Services’ to view channels not yet connected, or

• ‘My Services’ to see channels already linked.

3. In the list of channels, type ‘LekkeSlaap’ in the search box or scroll to find it.

4. Expand the LekkeSlaap section by clicking the down arrow.

5. Click ‘Property Settings’.

6. Choose:

• ‘Connect your first property’ (if none are connected yet), or

• ‘Add more properties’ (if you’ve already linked at least one).

7. Select which properties to connect. You can use filters or select them individually. Click ‘Next’ to view a summary.

8. Review your selected properties and click ‘Next’ again.

9. Rentals United will run a content quality check (this might take a few minutes).

10. Check the results:

• If there are issues, expand the warning section to see details.

• Download the report via ‘Download Quality Check’ for specifics.

• Click ‘Improve’ to edit the property and fix any issues. Once done, click ‘Re-check’.

11. When your properties are content-ready, set a markup for each property or apply a single markup across all listings.

12. Click ‘Publish’ properties. Your listings will be submitted to LekkeSlaap for review.

13. Listings will show as ‘Pending’. (Optional: Hover over the status icon to add a live link to your LekkeSlaap listing — this can speed up approval.)

14. Once approved, your listings will show as ‘Active’ and start receiving bookings.

What happens after you submit your properties

• Rentals United sends your properties to LekkeSlaap for review.

• LekkeSlaap checks the content and images to make sure they meet quality standards and style guidelines.

• Once approved, your listings go live on LekkeSlaap and can start getting bookings.

Tips for a smooth setup

• Your property must pass the content quality check before it can be published. Complete all required fields and upload high-quality images.

• Images should be at least 1200 × 800 px to meet LekkeSlaap’s standards.

• If your listing stays in ‘Pending’ or doesn’t update to ‘Active’, contact the LekkeSlaap Support Team for help by phoning 021 203 2181 or sending an email to properties@lekkeslaap.co.za.
