How to Link Your Property with Guesty

Managing multiple platforms can be time-consuming, but with Guesty, you can keep everything in one place. Linking your LekkeSlaap listings with Guesty allows you to update your property information, rates, and availability, as well as manage guest messages, all from a single dashboard. This saves time, reduces errors, and enables you to respond to guests more quickly.

Once connected, Guesty will sync your calendar, rates, and booking details automatically.

How to connect your LekkeSlaap account to Guesty

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.

  2. Switch to ‘Growth mode’ using the mode selector at the top of the page.

  3. In the navigation bar, click ‘Distribution’.

  4. Find ‘LekkeSlaap’ and click ‘Connect’.

  5. Click ‘Start connecting to LekkeSlaap’, then ‘Continue to connect listings’.

  6. Choose a cancellation policy and any applicable fees, then click ‘Next’. (You can change the policy later if needed.)

  7. Select which listings you’d like to connect:

    • All current listings

    • Specific listings

  1. Click ‘Done’ once you’ve made your selection.

  2. A pop-up will confirm your listings are pending connection. Click ‘Continue to the dashboard’ to finish.

What happens next?

Once you’ve completed the steps in Guesty:

  • LekkeSlaap will receive a notification to link your properties to Guesty.

  • Once mapped, your descriptions, house rules, and ‘Price includes’ section will be pulled from Guesty and adapted to fit LekkeSlaap’s style guide.

  • After mapping, Guesty will push your rates to LekkeSlaap.

  • You’ll get a confirmation once everything is live.

Adding more listings later

Want to connect more properties in future?

  1. Go to your LekkeSlaap integration page in Guesty.

  2. Click ‘Connect listings’ in the top-right corner.

  3. Follow the same steps as above.

Updating, disconnecting or reconnecting listings

  • Updating: Changes only sync if the listing is in ‘Live on channel’ status. Updates can take up to 24 hours to show on LekkeSlaap.

  • Disconnecting: Follow the steps in the Guesty Help Centre to remove a property from LekkeSlaap.

  • Reconnecting: If a listing is disconnected or shows ‘Failed’ status, reconnect it from the integration page by clicking the three dots under ‘Actions’.

Tips for a smooth connection

  • Only active listings can be linked, so make sure your listing is live in Guesty first.

  • Properties must:

    • Be located in South Africa or Namibia

    • Use ZAR as the currency

    • Have at least five high-quality images

  • Guesty manages setup, availability, rates, and guest communication.

  • LekkeSlaap manages payments, promotions, and cancellations.
