How To Respond to a Guest’s Message

It's crucial to prioritise clear and personalised communication with your guests. Good communication is key to ensuring a pleasant booking experience and stay. 

Step 1: Log in to your Host Profile.

Step 2: Click on 'Requests & Bookings' > 'Booking Offers Sent' or 'Confirmed Bookings', depending on the booking status. 

Step 3: Click 'View' on the right side of the guest’s name. There will be a 'New' icon above the view button indicating a new message from the guest. 

Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the page to 'Messages'.

Step 5: Respond and click on 'Send Message'.

Tips for responding to a guest’s message

  • Be warm and welcoming. A friendly tone goes a long way in making guests feel comfortable.
  • Answer all their questions. Take a moment to read through their message carefully so you can cover everything they’ve asked.
  • Use their preferred language. It helps guests feel understood and valued.
  • Double-check the details. Make sure you’re replying to the right booking and giving the correct information.
