How to set up your cancellation policy

Deciding on the right cancellation policy for your property is an important consideration. While you should always ensure you have a cancellation policy that gives you the necessary protections when a booking is cancelled, also keep in mind that a flexible policy will always be more appealing to potential guests than strict policies.

Setting your cancellation policy:

Step 1: Log into your Host Profile

Step 2: Click on the 'Pricing' drop-down.

Step 3: Select 'Cancellation Policy'.

Step 4: Select the cancellation policy you prefer.

Step 5: Click on 'Save changes'.

We have four cancellation policies to choose from:

  • Flexible Cancellation — Full refund up to 24 hours before arrival

  • Friendly Cancellation — Full refund up to 1 week before arrival

  • Moderate Cancellation — Full refund up to 1 month before arrival

  • Strict Cancellation — 50% refund up to 1 month before arrival
