How to upload photos

High-quality and inspirational photos are pivotal in capturing potential guests’ attention. These images offer a visual narrative that can either attract or deter booking interest. Crisp, well-composed photos provide an accurate representation of the property's features, layout, and ambience, allowing guests to envision themselves within its spaces. With many options to choose from, striking photos not only attract more views but also increase the likelihood of enquiries and ultimately, successful bookings.

Our photo requirements

• All photos must be at least 1200 x 800 or 800 x 1200 px. Our system won't allow any photos that do not meet this minimum requirement. 

• The image file type must be either JPEG or PNG and the file size 20MB or smaller.

General property photos

These photos should provide an overview of the outside and inside of your property, as well as all communal and public areas. A minimum of seven general photos is required for each property.

Room/unit-specific photos

These photos should show the interior and exterior of the individual rooms or units (for example sleeping area, bathroom and/or balcony). A minimum of three photos is required for each room or unit.

Important notes:

• We require photos of each bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area, and a few general photos of the property.

• What we don’t allow:

• collages

• text, watermarks or date stamps

• frames or borders

• filters 

• visible direct contact information

How to upload photos or videos:

Step 1: Log in to your Host Profile

Step 2: Click on 'Edit Content' > 'Photos/Videos'

Step 3: Click on 'drag and drop your files in this area'.

Please note: If your property has different rooms or units, make sure to select the correct option or 'General Establishment' in the drop-down when you upload photos.

Step 4: Choose the correct photos from your source file. If your browser supports it, you can upload multiple files at once.

Step 5: Click on 'Done Uploading'.

Step 6: Once all the photos have been uploaded, choose a main photo by clicking on the three dots in the corner of the desired photo and select 'make cover image'.

Tips for choosing your main photo: When choosing a main photo, make sure you're choosing one that showcases the most attractive feature of the property, whether it's a stunning view, spacious living area, or luxurious amenity. Opt for a photo that is clear, well-lit, and sharp, and pay attention to the composition of the photo, ensuring that key elements are well-framed and balanced within the frame.
