The do’s and don’ts of property photos
This article will provide some helpful tips on how to enhance your property’s photos and what to steer clear of. Customers love photos and videos and consistently book properties that have high-quality content. Add as many relevant photos or videos as possible – the more, the better.
Our website now allows you to add videos of your property to enhance the viewing experience even more for potential customers. Videos are currently limited to 60 seconds.
Tips:
-
Choose a featured photo that accurately represents your property, any misrepresentation could lead to a poor customer experience, which could lead to refunds and complaints.
-
Upload high-quality photos with a minimum resolution of 1200 x 800 (height and width). The photo file types we accept are JPEG and PNG, where the file size is 20 MB or smaller.
-
All photos of the property, with the special exception of the bathrooms, must be taken in landscape format.
-
Upload a complete collection of photos that showcase all of the facilities available to customers, including all of the bedrooms showing the beds, bathrooms and their facilities, living and entertainment areas, the kitchen, outdoor areas, and a front view of the property.
-
For hotels, B&Bs, and guest houses, the general property photos must include communal facilities available to customers. Under each available room or unit, unique photos need to be supplied.
Note: Always ensure that your photos reflect what the customers will experience on arrival.
