What You Need to List Your Property: Lesotho

As part of our activation process, we verify all properties before they can go live to ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain a secure and trustworthy platform. The documents required depend on your property’s ownership structure and compliance with local regulations in Lesotho.

Please find your ownership type below to see which documents we need to get your property verified and live on our platform.

Host Identity

To verify your identity and address, please provide the following:

  • A valid National Identity Document (ID) or a valid passport

  • A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months

Property Ownership

To confirm legal ownership of the property, provide one of the following:

  • Title Deed, or

  • Certificate of Occupancy issued by the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship Affairs or the Land Administration Authority 

If You Are Not the Property Owner

If you are listing a property on behalf of the owner, we require:

  • A lease agreement, and/or

  • Written consent from the property owner authorising you to list the property on LekkeSlaap.

Business and Tax Requirements (If Applicable)

If you are operating as a registered business, please provide:

  • Business Registration Certificate issued by the One-Stop Business Facilitation Centre (OBFC)

  • Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) issued by the Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) 

Important to Note

  • All documents must be clear, valid, and up to date

  • Proof of address must not be older than three months

  • Submitted documents may be subject to verification

  • We may request additional documentation depending on specific circumstances
