The required documents depend on your property’s ownership structure and may include information to verify your identity, confirm property ownership or authorisation, and meet applicable financial and compliance requirements in Mauritius.

Individual Ownership

Identity Verification

• Copy of a National Identity Card, passport, or driver’s licence

Property Ownership

• Title deed confirming legal ownership of the property

Financial Requirements

• South African bank account confirmation letter for payout purposes

Company Ownership

Company Registration Documents

• Certificate of incorporation

• Company registration number confirmation

• Proof of registered business address

Directors and Authorised Persons

• Copy of a passport or identity document for all directors

Property Ownership

• Title deed registered in the company name, or

• Valid sale or transfer documentation

Mandate

• Board resolution authorising:

• The property listing

• The authorised representative

• Payout banking details

Financial Requirements

• Company bank account confirmation letter (South African account)

Trust Ownership

Required Documents

• Latest Letter of Authority (LOA)

• Copy of an ID, passport, or driver’s licence for trustees linked to the property

• Trust bank confirmation letter (not older than 3 months)

• Signed LekkeSlaap trust resolution

Joint Ownership

Where ownership is shared between two or more individuals or entities.

For Each Owner

• Copy of an ID, passport, or driver’s licence

Property Ownership

• Title deed reflecting all registered owners

Mandate

• Signed LekkeSlaap multiple-owner mandate confirming:

• Agreement to list the property

• Agreement on payout handling and representation
