As part of our activation process, we verify all properties before they can go live to ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain a secure and trustworthy platform. The required documents depend on your property’s ownership structure. They may include information to verify your identity, confirm property ownership or authorisation, and meet applicable business and compliance requirements in Zimbabwe.

Individual Ownership

Identity Verification

• Copy of a valid ID, passport, driver's licence, or refugee/residence permit

Property Ownership

• Title Deed issued by the Deeds Registry

Individual Owner with a Manager/Host

Identity Verification

• Copy of a valid ID, passport, or driver's licence for the person managing the listing and the owner of the property

Property Ownership

• Title Deed issued by the Deeds Registry

Mandate

• Signed mandate or authorisation letter confirming that the manager is authorised to list and manage the property on behalf of the owner

Company Ownership

Company Registration Documents

• Certificate of Incorporation

• CR14 (Directors)

• CR6 (Registered Address)

Ownership and Control Structure

The following information may be requested:

• Company registration documents

• Director information

• Beneficial owner details (where applicable)

Authorised Representative Verification

• Copy of a valid ID, passport, or driver's licence for the person managing the listing

• Signed mandate or authorisation letter

Property Ownership

• Title Deed issued by the Deeds Registry, or

• Documentation confirming the company's legal right to manage and list the property

If You Are Not the Property Owner

Identity Verification

• Copy of a valid ID, passport, or driver's licence for the person managing the listing and the owner of the property

Property Authorisation

• Valid lease agreement (with permission to sublet)

• Written owner consent authorising the property to be listed on LekkeSlaap
