Managing your WhatsApp and SMS notifications
Hosts can manage how they receive notifications regarding bookings and guest enquiries. Here’s how you can control your WhatsApp and SMS notifications:

Opting out via WhatsApp:

If you wish to stop receiving WhatsApp messages but continue receiving SMS notifications, simply reply with ‘STOP’ to our host WhatsApp number: +27 21 203 2181.

This will stop all WhatsApp notifications but keep SMS alerts active for booking enquiries and updates.

Opting out via the host portal:

If you opt out through the settings on your host portal, it will stop both WhatsApp and SMS notifications.

When you opt out this way, you will only receive email notifications for booking enquiries and updates.

To access this setting, go to your contact preferences on the host portal and choose the option for receiving mobile notifications.
How to opt in again

To start receiving WhatsApp notifications again, you can:

Use the ‘Opt In’ button in your host portal settings.

Alternatively, click on the ‘Opt In’ button on our host WhatsApp chat (+27 21 203 2181), which will reactivate WhatsApp notifications.
